Hello everyone, Dan and I had a very nice time on our short trip and I wanted to thank Janie for all her help with the bookstore while we were gone... and thanks to all of her helpers also( you know who you are)! I did wait until I returned to place the weekly book order, so we will have books in on Wednesday, March 3 if anyone is waiting for a special order. Thank you all for understanding and waiting an extra week for your books!
I know the weather has kept everyone at home, but we have some great stuff happening at the bookstore each month, so if you need a break from the house, stop in during one of our book club meetings and discuss our book of month...or try our crochet and knit club, if you don't know how to knit or crochet I can teach you...or how about learning to spin your own yarn! For more information about all we have to offer check our "Calendar Of Events" or give Tracey a call at 980-4424.
We are putting together our categories for the Recipe of the Month Club. Our first meeting was going to be in March but the weather is still so bad I thought we would meet in April. So if you are interested in joining you still have time! If you have any questions please feel free to contact Tracey @ 980-4424.
Sock or Fingerless Gloves class. Because of the bad weather we will repeat both our classes during the month of March so if you still want to learn to make either Socks or Fingerless Gloves come by on Friday evenings at 6 p.m. and Saturday mornings at 11 a.m. in March (excluding March 27 for our felting class). The class fee is $10.00 per class. Don't forget we have sock and glove yarns available in Spinning A Good Yarn...Fiber Shop located in the back of the bookstore. Our Monthly Felting Class:
March 27, 11 a.m. - 1 p.m. We will be making a Bunnies - Ducks. Only $20.00 for the class fee and supplies.
Here's a reminder of when our clubs are meeting, for more information about each club check our "Club News".
Wednesday Night Book Club meeting will be March 3, at 7 p.m. Our discussion will be about "Murder Is Binding" by Lorna Barrett. Refreshments will be served! Please join us, we would be happy to have new members!!
Crochet and Knitting / Spinning Club meetings are: Wednesday, March 10 at 11 a.m. and Friday, March 19, at 6:00 p.m. For more information about what we have been doing check with our "Club News". I will be happy to help anyone wanting to learn, so don't be shy if you need help, we all like to share what we know.
